Javier Zamora is one of our growers from the Watsonville/Salinas area. Javier is the owner of JSM Organics and they provide locally grown organic produce, fruits, and flowers. Javier serves as a board member for many different organization. As a board member for the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition (NSAC), the Agriculture and Land-Based Training Association (ALBA), and California Farmlink he was able to travel to DC to visit the nation’s capital and speak with legislators about the important food and agriculture issues. Each year when congress is getting ready to plan the annual funding for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) programs, they bring farmers and ranchers from NSAC member organizations to Washington to speak with congressional delegation’s about what matters most to them.
